Hillsborough is an incorporated town in San Mateo County in the San Francisco Bay Area. It is located 17 miles south of San Francisco on the Peninsula.
Sawyer Camp Trail is a six mile trail in the San Andreas Fault rift valley in San Mateo County, just outside Hillsborough. An average of 300,000 people use the trail year on years and it offers stunning vistas of the San Francisco Peninsula's Crystal Springs Watershed.
Crystal Springs Reservoir is a group of artificial bodies of water situated in the northern Santa Cruz Mountains of San Mateo County. Just to the west of the cities of San Mateo and Hillsborough, the lakes form a section of the San Mateo Creek watershed.
A quirky attraction near Hillsborough, the Burlingame Museum of Pez Memorabilia opened in 1995 and is run by a couple who spent over ten years collection dispensers. The museum say that they have one of each Pez dispenser ever made.
