Shaw and Crompton lies at the foot of the River Beal, with the South Pennines rising up on the horizon. The town has six surviving cotton mills, a testament to the self-sufficient nature of this industrial community, and is dotted with Edwardian terraced houses in iconic red brick. Hidden away in Crompton Moor is a beautiful unnamed waterfall that crashes into the quarry below, creating rich soil for mosses and wetland grasses to grow nearby.

The flower of Shaw is the Common Cotton Grass (Eriophorum Angustifolium) which can be seen growing in the surrounding bogs and moorland. It thrives in acidic wet soil, and is sometimes called ‘bogweed’! This hairy-looking plant can be used to make plasters and bandages, as its strong fibres are absorbent and hard to break. We also deliver fresh flowers to Oldham, Rochdale, and Manchester City Centre.
Hear what customers have to say
Flowers seem okay but surprise was spoilt as I was not sent any delivery update so it was not clear if flowers had been delivered and to whom. I had to follow up a number of times. Didn't get any proof of delivery despite persom saying he would make sure I would get proof. Also the merchant was too personal in his responses and making assumptions about the receipients . It felt uncomfortable. Has put me off using Floom again
My mum said they were exceptional,
On time Couple were a little bit droopy 🌻
This is the second year running that I had the same bouquet from F For Flower delivered to my sister on her birthday. She absolutely loves the colors and the arrangement, and said that the delivery was timely and without issue. Highly recommend F For Flower and Floom.
