Scarborough is an iconic english resort town on the country’s North Sea coast. For years a favourite seaside retreat for holidaymakers across Yorkshire, Scarborough has recently undergone something of a renaissance as the town looks to roll back the years on its role as a tourism hotspot.
Split by a headland bearing the iconic Scarborough Castle, the town’s two bays boast some of North East England’s most beautiful sandy beaches. The castle is a medieval structure harking back to the 12th century and the views from here are some of the finest anywhere in town, stretching far across the North Sea.
Peasholm Park is something of a mecca for Scarborough’s flora enthusiasts, with its Japanese-style plants, flowers and water features making it unique among the region’s many gardens. Opened in 1912, it includes a pagoda and various Japanese statues.
Floom’s Scarborough flower delivery applies to the whole of town, including Barrowcliff, Newby and Falsgrave as well as many other neighbourhoods.

The Harebell (Campanula rotundifolia), is a perennial flowering plant that’s the official flower of Yorkshire. Our selection for floral symbol of Scarborough, the Harebell is also known as blawort, lady’s thimble and hare-bell.
With five violet-blue petals that fuse together to form an elegant bell-shape, the Harebell is a handsome flowering plant that tends to grow in parched grasslands across Britain and much of Europe.
A hardy plant, the Harebell flowers from July all the way through Autumn and into November. Perhaps it’s toughness is part of the reason that the Harebell is so beloved throughout both Scarborough and Yorkshire as a whole, providing ample inspiration for Floom’s Scarborough florists when creating their handcrafted bouquets and arrangements.
Very pretty and my girlfriend loves it. Only problem is they don’t call when they deliver.
Really lovely flowers - super prompt and easy delivery
My only critiques are the flowers received were different than those in the photo . I was trying to avoid roses as they die quickly but the bouquet was mostly roses it seemed. Also ask zip code first please so you only see what’s actually available in that area. Otherwise I’ve been very pleased ! Thank you ….
Beautiful flowers delivered, small issue with communications but flowers arrived on the day
Floom’s flowers were actually more beautiful in person! I would highly recommend :)
I have both received and sent flowers with Floom and had wonderful experiences both times! I love the unique arrangements from the array of florists they work with. It is a nice change of pace from the same bouquets at all the other usual suspects, and I really like to find new local shops to support.
Everything was absolutely perfect — the bouquet looked even more beautiful in real life than in the picture
The flowers I ordered for my aunt’s 75th birthday were arranged so beautifully!! I was a little surprised of the color - I thought it’s going to be white roses as in the picture. The roses were soft lilac color, but they are lovely, nonetheless! Thank you!
