As a proud Lancastrian town, it would only be right to assign the Red Rose (Rosa Gallica) as the floral symbol of Penwortham.
Shrouded in centuries of local folklore, the Red Rose of Lancaster first become linked to the wider county after its use as a symbol in the War of the Roses during the late 15th-century.
Today the Rose is featured on the Lancashire County Council coat of arms and many of the region’s football and rugby clubs. Throughout Penwortham, florists use the Red Rose as inspiration when handcrafting elegant bouquets for Floom’s Penwortham flower delivery.
Flowers seem okay but surprise was spoilt as I was not sent any delivery update so it was not clear if flowers had been delivered and to whom. I had to follow up a number of times. Didn't get any proof of delivery despite persom saying he would make sure I would get proof. Also the merchant was too personal in his responses and making assumptions about the receipients . It felt uncomfortable. Has put me off using Floom again
My mum said they were exceptional,
On time Couple were a little bit droopy 🌻
This is the second year running that I had the same bouquet from F For Flower delivered to my sister on her birthday. She absolutely loves the colors and the arrangement, and said that the delivery was timely and without issue. Highly recommend F For Flower and Floom.
