Leighton Buzzard is a town in the southern English county of Bedfordshire, located between the regional hubs of Milton Keynes and Luton. The town lies on the fringes of the Chiltern Hills AONB.

The Leighton Buzzard Light Railway was built after WWI to serve sand quarries across the area. Since the 1960’s, the railway has been ran by volunteers who run the line as a tourist attraction and heritage feature. Railway and train enthusiasts from across the country come to admire the track as well as the variety of internal combustion locomotives which still ride the rails to this day.
