The Burnt Orchid (Neotinea ustulata), a beautiful flower that’s native to clutches of the countryside around Chertsey.
Considered an endangered species throughout Europe, the Burnt Orchid takes its name from the distinctive blacks “burn” marks that dot the flower’s delicate white petals.
With a honey-like fragrance, Burnt Orchids have been charming visitors to southern England for many years, and it’s true that the region has the highest number of Burnt Orchids anywhere in northwest Europe.
Florists in Chertsey take inspiration from the nearby countryside and in particular from the unique beauty of the Burnt Orchid. With Floom, flower delivery in Chertsey is locally-inspired and never generic.
Very pretty and my girlfriend loves it. Only problem is they don’t call when they deliver.
Really lovely flowers - super prompt and easy delivery
My only critiques are the flowers received were different than those in the photo . I was trying to avoid roses as they die quickly but the bouquet was mostly roses it seemed. Also ask zip code first please so you only see what’s actually available in that area. Otherwise I’ve been very pleased ! Thank you ….
Beautiful flowers delivered, small issue with communications but flowers arrived on the day
Floom’s flowers were actually more beautiful in person! I would highly recommend :)
I have both received and sent flowers with Floom and had wonderful experiences both times! I love the unique arrangements from the array of florists they work with. It is a nice change of pace from the same bouquets at all the other usual suspects, and I really like to find new local shops to support.
Everything was absolutely perfect — the bouquet looked even more beautiful in real life than in the picture
The flowers I ordered for my aunt’s 75th birthday were arranged so beautifully!! I was a little surprised of the color - I thought it’s going to be white roses as in the picture. The roses were soft lilac color, but they are lovely, nonetheless! Thank you!
