Each year, from April to July, bird watchers gather at the Bempton Cliffs near Bridlington to catch a sighting of one of the planet’s most mysterious birds; the Atlantic puffin. In fact, the cliffs are renowned throughout the UK as a hotbed for rare and extoic seabirds, making them a key element of Bridlington culture. Bempton Cliffs is a nature reserve, run by the RSPB that is home to birds such as northern gannet, razorbill, guillemot, black-legged kittiwake and fulmar. Sewerby Hall is a grade I listed country house close to Bridlington set amid 50 acres of stunning grounds. Featuring a small zoo and miles of woodlands trails, the hall has become a popular place of recreation for Bridlington locals.
