The coastal town of Arbroath is one of Scotland’s biggest fishing ports, and its football team hold the world record for the highest number of goals scored in a professional football match (36)! The town’s name has been simplified a little from the original ‘Aberbrothock’, and is now a place of great historical interest, maintaining fascinating medieval monuments and vivid, vibrant harbours. The inventor of the postage stamp was born and raised in Arbroath, so without this town our service might look a little different!

The Alpine Catchfly (Silene Suecica) is the flower of Arbroath. This delicate pink flowering plant spread over to Scotland from Norway and Sweden, where it made a home nestled among the mountains. Scottish climes were so similar that the flower quite literally blossomed, spreading across mountains and giving off a pink haze on summer days. It grows best on rocks and pebbled areas, forgoing traditional soil for barren outcrops and sea cliffs. It has also been used as a copper indicator, due to its unique ability to grow in areas of high heavy metal concentration.
Very pretty and my girlfriend loves it. Only problem is they don’t call when they deliver.
Really lovely flowers - super prompt and easy delivery
My only critiques are the flowers received were different than those in the photo . I was trying to avoid roses as they die quickly but the bouquet was mostly roses it seemed. Also ask zip code first please so you only see what’s actually available in that area. Otherwise I’ve been very pleased ! Thank you ….
Beautiful flowers delivered, small issue with communications but flowers arrived on the day
Floom’s flowers were actually more beautiful in person! I would highly recommend :)
I have both received and sent flowers with Floom and had wonderful experiences both times! I love the unique arrangements from the array of florists they work with. It is a nice change of pace from the same bouquets at all the other usual suspects, and I really like to find new local shops to support.
Everything was absolutely perfect — the bouquet looked even more beautiful in real life than in the picture
The flowers I ordered for my aunt’s 75th birthday were arranged so beautifully!! I was a little surprised of the color - I thought it’s going to be white roses as in the picture. The roses were soft lilac color, but they are lovely, nonetheless! Thank you!
