Conceived as a completely new way of buying flowers, Flower Station began life in a disused petrol station, providing easy, efficient bouquets for residents in NW1. Nearly 20 years later, the company is set across 3 locations – Marylebone, Liverpool Street, Glasgow Central Station – with its own delivery fleet and thriving team of florists. Fundamentally however, the principles behind the original concept remain intact: quality flowers, reliable delivery and thoughtful production.
So while Flower Station has branched out from humble beginnings, the nucleus is the same. And that goes for the team as much as the ethos. Director David Cohen has been at the helm since the very beginning, guiding the company through the minefield of the 2008 crash and subsequent recession towards new growth and stability.
Something of a local secret among Marylebone residents, Flower Station is defined by an emphasis on combining British and international blooms with a forward thinking design philosophy: amaranthus bursting from the seams of a rose and scabiosa design or fragrant, Exmoor mint set amongst green hypericum in a bouquet as refreshing as it is surprising.
Now partnering with Floom, Flower Station is ready to bring amazing bouquets to more customers than ever.
